Tall case brass dial clock, ca. 1773.

Mahogany tall-case clock. The hood has a molded arch pediment, two ball-and-eagle finials, turned colonettes with brass capitals at the front corners, and a glazed door with an astragal top. Waist with cove molding at the top and case door with astragal top. Bottom section with molding at the top, supported on a molded base. Engraved brass dial with roman hour numerals and arabic minute numerals, engraved foliate ornament in the spandrels and lunette, and moon phase dial in the lunette. Inside the chapter ring are the inscription "Simon Willard," a second inscription, and an engraved eagle below the pierced hands. Eight day movement.
